Funding is available to support a DPhil (=PhD) student at Oxford
University and Balliol College to work with me and the rest of the
Chebfun team in areas related to numerical computation with functions.
The project stretches over a wide range from theory to software
design, and the research topic can be adapted to the successful
applicant's particular strengths and interests. Candidates must have
an excellent mathematical background and serious commitment to
