Я еще хотела спросить. Вы случайно не знаете, что такое
Signature Track? Для некоторых курсов есть такая фишка. Чёт я пока не разобралась, что это значит. Возможно, это те курсы, по которым студентам засчитывают сдачу экзамена? т.е. для россиян и других стран (кроме США) это не имеет значения?

Из описания поняла только, что это какой-то официальный сертификат и уже за деньги.

Ооо. Вот еще нашла. Можно подать на грант..т.е. финансовую поддержку, чтобы получить этот официальный сертификат - Signature Track (для тех, у кого сильные финансовые трудности). Вот что пишут:

Financial Aid was designed specifically for those who face significant economic hardships, so that these individuals with genuine needs may be given the chance to join a course’s Signature Track at no cost.
If you would like to join the Signature Track but cannot afford it, please apply for Financial Aid. We want you to get a high quality education, earn a Verified Certificate, and share your success with others.
Note that providing the Signature Track incurs significant costs for Coursera. Thus, please request this financial aid package only if you intend to make a serious attempt at completing the class. If we suspect abuse of this program, we may be forced to discontinue it, which would be to the detriment of many deserving students.
In order to be eligible for Coursera Financial Aid you must meet the following criteria:

•Demonstrate that the Verified Certificate is of significant value to your education or career.

In order to apply for Coursera Financial Aid, visit your course’s Signature Track sign-up page and complete the Signature Profile creation process. On the final “Payment Information” step, you will see a link to a financial aid application for the course. Once submitted, your application will be reviewed by our team. Once you submit your application, you will be given provisional access to your course’s Signature Track pending review of your application
