Простите, я не мог спросить Вас по-русски.

I am using Microsoft Word 2010 -Windows 7 -32 bits. After opening a previously saved Word file containing equations (I am using Equation editor ), it is discovered that some of the equation (formula) have become non-editable pictures. I know this is associated with the Auto-recovery function in Word and I turned off the Auto-save function in Word, but the issue is not fixed. (I used Microsoft Word 6 before and met this error but after turning off the Auto-save function in Word 6, the problem is fixed) Imagine that thesis with hundreds of formula suddenly became pictures. What's a nightmare! I do not think that after a lot of years this bug it isn’t fixed or can not fix. Is there any way to safety edit with the formulas and Equation editor ? Is there any way to recover the formulas? Could you give me some advices? |

			1) Try “Open as” command of MS Word to recover the existing documents.

	2) Stop using MS Word and move to TEX if you're going to continue writing papers containing math equations. |

			greenforest, it's a bug of Microsoft Word 2003, 2007, 2010, 2013.

	1) Turn off auto-save, use manual backuping with versioning for document. 2) Avoid huge number of MS Equation objects in a single document. 3) Strongly avoid using copy-paste for MS Equation objects. See also, https://dessci.com/en/support/mathtype/tsn/tsn103.htm |
